Following the severe weather that impacted Milliken in 2026, this property required a comprehensive exterior restoration. By managing both the Milliken roof replacement and a full exterior painting makeover, we provided a seamless, single-source solution to restore the home’s structural integrity and aesthetic value.

The necessity for this project stemmed from a significant hail storm that moved through Milliken on May 15, 2026. The storm brought high-velocity hail impact that damaged the existing roofing system, the exterior finish and left the homeowner vulnerable for additional damage. The storm produced hailstones ranging from 1.25 to 2.75 inches in diameter. At its peak, the hail reached baseball size (approx. 2.75 inches), with frequent reports of golf ball-sized stones. As you can imaging, many Milliken homeowners were left with extensive damage. The hail was powerful enough to shatter windows, destroy solar panels, and break car windows.

Homeowners reported significant damage to roofs and siding, as well as vegetation being stripped from trees. Because of this, our team conducted a detailed inspection on this home to document these hail-related failures and develop a timely restoration plan. As you can see below, the damage is substantial.

Phase 1: Putting on a New Roof in Milliken

We removed the compromised roofing material down to the original wood decking to ensure the structural deck was sound. If your roof decking is soggy or spaced decking, you should anticipate additional costs to replace the decking and provide a strong foundation for your roof. To protect against future severe weather, we installed a premium, high-performance roofing system.

Phase 2: Exterior Painting Makeover

Once the Milliken roof replacement was finalized, we shifted focus to the home’s other damaged surfaces. To ensure the painting phase was as professional as the roofing, we utilized Hover technology to create a 3D digital map of the property.

  • The Hover Advantage: By using a Hover report, we generated an exact map of every siding panel and trim piece. This allowed us to calculate precise paint quantities and “place” colors digitally before a brush even touched the house, ensuring the final result was exactly what the homeowners envisioned.
  • Color Palette: Based on the digital map, we applied a sophisticated three-tone scheme using Sherwin-Williams Latitude exterior paint:
  • Durability: The Latitude line was chosen for its climate-adaptive technology, allowing it to withstand the extreme temperature swings and high UV exposure of Northern Colorado.
